Cartoon Zoo Club

In December of 2015 I created an illustration of Adam and Eve for a client. The client decided not to use the image. I posted the sketch on facebook and asked friends to come up with a clever cartoon caption. I created the first gag line to get the ball rolling, Adam: "I prefer a PC over an Apple." In just a few hours we had 16 gag line submissions from 8 people that participated. My good friend, Bill Heath came up with the caption selected for the final cartoon. I completed the cartoon based on Bills writing, changed expressions, added color, and Wa-lah! Over the course of that same week I created five more quirky drawings, shared the rough sketches with my facebook tribe, we received 87 unique gag line submissions for the five cartoons. Our genie was out of the bottle. Cartoon Zoo was born.
